This Privacy Policy describes how Academy of Medical Wisdom, LLC (doing business as Wysdom) (“Wysdom,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our websites, mobile applications, and other online services and tools (collectively, the “Services”), or when you otherwise interact with us.

Wysdom is built for healthcare professionals, fellows, residents, and other members of the allied health community. This Privacy Policy applies only to the information we collect through our Services or in the course of our interactions with you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will change the “Last Updated” date at the top. In some cases, we may also give you extra notice, such as a notice on our homepage or an email. Please review this Privacy Policy now and then so you know how we collect and use data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide directly to us, for example when you:

• Create or update an account on our Services;
• Subscribe to our email newsletter (including through the website pop-up);
• Complete a form, survey, or application (for example, contact, expert-request, or job applications);
• Participate in any interactive features of our Services;
• Engage with us via social media;
• Request support or otherwise communicate with us.

Depending on the nature of your interaction, we may collect details such as name, email address, postal address, phone number, specialty or sub-specialty, role (for example, med student, resident, fellow, attending, nurse/tech, or industry), employment or workplace information, and any additional information you choose to provide.

Newsletter signups on the marketing website collect your email address and the page you signed up from. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.

When you access or use the Services, certain information is collected automatically, including log information (pages viewed, browser type, time and date of access, IP address, referring page), device information, and cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. See Section 8.5.

We may receive information about you from third-party partners, such as analytics providers, email service providers, visitor-identification providers, and social media platforms. If you follow or interact with us on a social media site, we may gain access to certain details about your profile, subject to that platform’s authorization procedures.

One such partner, when Marketing cookies are accepted, is RB2B (Retention.com). RB2B may match a website visit to a person or company and may collect or infer identifiers (such as a name, work email, or LinkedIn profile), internet activity (pages viewed, referring URL), approximate location, and professional information (employer, title). RB2B cookies include, among others, _reb2buid (about 360 days), _reb2bgeo (about 20 days), _reb2bref (about 15 days), and _reb2butk (about 1 year). RB2B’s own privacy choices are at https://www.rb2b.com/your-privacy-choices and its opt-out is at https://app.retention.com/optout.

We may use the information we collect to operate and improve the Services; process transactions; provide support; send the newsletter and other marketing you ask for; analyze usage; prevent fraud and abuse; personalize content; combine data from other sources; comply with law; and for other purposes disclosed at collection or for which you consent.

We may share or disclose the information we collect in the following ways:

1. Service Providers and Vendors. Vendors on the marketing website include:
   • CookieYes, which stores your cookie choices and helps us honor them.
   • Google LLC, through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, for tag management and analytics, only after you accept Analytics and only if your browser is not sending a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
   • RB2B / Retention.com, for visitor identification, only after you accept Marketing and only if your browser is not sending a GPC signal.
   • Resend, for email delivery and storing newsletter and form contacts.
   • Vercel Inc., to host the website and related functions.
2. Publicly accessible content you choose to post.
3. Business partners and sponsors, in limited cases (for example name, specialty, or engagement data).
4. Legal requirements, transfers of assets, affiliates, or with your consent or direction.
5. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you.

California “sale” / “share.” Sharing identifiers or internet activity with analytics or advertising / identification partners (including Google Analytics and, when enabled, RB2B) may be a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. You can opt out by using Cookie settings in the website footer, by sending a GPC signal (we treat GPC as an opt-out of Analytics and Marketing), or by emailing info@medicalwysdom.ai. We will not require you to create an account to make this request. If you opt out, we will not ask you to opt back in for 12 months.

Information you post in interactive areas or via social sharing features may be visible to other users or the public, depending on your settings.

If you apply for a job, we may collect background, credentials, and work-experience information to evaluate your application, run recruitment, comply with law, and investigate possible violations.

We take reasonable steps to safeguard your information. No method is perfect. Keep account credentials confidential and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Wysdom is headquartered in the United States. By using the Services you understand your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our vendors operate.

8. Your Choices

Review, update, or delete certain account information by logging in or emailing info@medicalwysdom.ai.

Unsubscribe with the link in our emails or by emailing info@medicalwysdom.ai. We may still send non-promotional account messages.

Turn these off in your device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit processing of personal information, and to opt out of sale or share as described above.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: open Cookie settings in the footer of any page (https://www.medicalwysdom.ai/#cookie-settings), or use GPC. Cookie settings reopens your choices for Necessary, Analytics (GA4), and Marketing (RB2B).

To submit a request, email info@medicalwysdom.ai. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. To appeal a denial, email info@medicalwysdom.ai with “Appeal” in the subject line.

We use CookieYes to record a cookie choice for six months, then ask again. Categories:

• Necessary: required for the site to work, including first-party storage that remembers a newsletter pop-up dismissal or signup. Always on.
• Analytics: Google Tag Manager (GTM-WQVDM22R) and Google Analytics 4 (G-PR22XG080J), only after you accept Analytics, and never when GPC is on.
• Marketing: RB2B / Retention.com visitor identification, only after you accept Marketing, and never when GPC is on.

You can also refuse cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or clear site data for medicalwysdom.ai. We do not respond to the older “Do Not Track” header. We do honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of Analytics (GA4) and Marketing (RB2B).

Links to other sites are governed by those sites’ privacy policies.

We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, legal obligations, and records.

• CookieYes stores your consent choice for about six months.
• Newsletter and form contacts in Resend are kept until you unsubscribe or we delete the contact, plus a limited suppression period.
• Newsletter pop-up dismissal is stored in your browser for about 30 days; a signup record is stored so we do not show the pop-up again.
• Google Analytics retention follows our GA4 property settings.
• RB2B cookie lifetimes are listed in Section 1.3.
