Founded by Dr. Lawrence “Rusty” Hofmann, a Stanford professor and leader in interventional radiology and digital health, Wysdom empowers healthcare professionals to share clinical pearls - the kind of insight that rarely makes it into journals or textbooks.

Meet the Founder
Lawrence "Rusty" Hofmann, MD
Dr. Lawrence “Rusty” Hofmann is a practicing physician and Professor of Interventional Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine, where he holds multiple leadership roles within Stanford Healthcare.
These include:
- Chief of Industry Partnerships
- Medical Director of Cardiac and Interventional Services
- Medical Director of Digital Health
Previously, he served as Chief of Interventional Radiology at Stanford for nearly 20 years and spent a decade at Johns Hopkins before that.
Dr. Hofmann has delivered hundreds of scientific presentations and publications on image-guided therapies, with current research focused on AI, telemedicine, and DVT management.
As a healthcare entrepreneur, he co-founded Grand Rounds (now Included Health), developed several FDA-cleared devices, and actively invests in innovation to improve global patient care.
